Celebrate this year’s theme of “Funny Business” with an all-day array of family events and activities on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville.
Events will include:
- Screenings of family films at The Paramount – $1 admission
- The Spotlight’s on…YOU! – Be a celebrity for a day with your very own “Red Carpet Walk,” complete with flashbulb-popping paparazzi and more!
- A chance to star in your own scenes thanks to green screen technology that puts you right in the middle of the action.
- Premieres of films by aspiring young local artists from Lighthouse
- Debuts of Young Filmmakers Academy films
- Special exhibits at the Virginia Discovery Museum (including free admission from 1 – 3 pm with stub)
- Preview of the Sprout Film Festival (hosted by PREP/Parent Resource Center)
- Special “celebrity” guests from the Music Resource Center
All this plus delicious and healthy lunch bites provided by Whole Foods, puppets, jugglers, crafts and much more!
