The Virginia Film Society’s spring season concludes by celebrating the 200th birthday of one of America’s greatest literary talents, Edgar Allan Poe, with a screening of the 1960 classic, “The House of Usher,” on April 29 at 7 p.m. at Vinegar Hill Theater.

The Black Maria Film and Video Festival returns

Its 15th annual visit to the Virginia Film Society takes place on March 18 at 7 p.m. at Vinegar Hill Theatre. Nine films will be featured during the film society event.
