Pick your films and events, making sure not to choose conflicting times. Regal Downtown, Vinegar Hill, and The Paramount are located on the Downtown Mall; Newcomb Hall and Culbreth Theatre are at opposite ends of U.Va. Grounds. If you choose consecutive screenings across town from each other, you may have to leave one early, so please plan accordingly.
ORDERING YOUR TICKETS
ONLINE: October 9 – November 8
Online ticket ordering is the easiest and most efficient way to order your tickets. Browse the interactive schedule and place your order with a credit card. Our online Box Office opens at 10 am on Friday, October 9, and allows ticket purchases up to two hours prior to each film. All orders received by 5pm Thursday, October 29, will be mailed, unless otherwise requested. All orders placed past this date can be picked up in advance at the Arts Box Office or at the door on the day of the film beginning one hour prior to each event.

Beginning at 12 pm on Friday, October 9, operators will be ready to take your order by calling the Arts Box Office at (434) 924-3376. Phone lines are open Monday through Friday from 12 pm to 5 pm. Phone orders will not be accepted after 5 pm on Friday, November 6.

The Arts Box Office will open for in person sales at 12 pm on Friday, October 9. The Arts Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 12 pm to 5 pm.
Downtown Visitors’ Suite will have stations available for online sales from Monday, October 26. The Downtown Visitors’ Suite is open from noon until 6pm Monday 26 – Saturday 31 and from 10am to 7pm Monday 2 – Saturday 7.

All will call tickets will be held at the Arts Box Office, located in the lobby of the U.Va. Drama Building at 109 Culbreth Road, until the day of the film. On the day of the film, tickets can be picked up at the door, starting one hour before each event. We strongly encourage all patrons to pick up their will call tickets in advance of the Festival to avoid waiting in line at the door.
FREE U.VA. STUDENT TICKETS
All full-time enrolled U.Va. students can receive one complimentary ticket to most films and events. For more information and to reserve tickets online visit our Free UVA Student Tickets page or proceed directly to the UVa Arts Box Office website. Please note that free U.Va. student tickets must be reserved in advance and are not available the day of a film and are not available at the door. All free U.Va. student tickets should be picked up in advance of the Festival at the Arts Box Office with a student ID to avoid waiting in line at the door or having their tickets released..

Ticket prices vary – please check each film listing for price. Discount prices are available for senior citizens 60 and over, children under twelve, U.Va. faculty and staff, and students with ID.

If purchasing tickets during the Festival, please keep in mind the following:

DOWNTOWN VISITORS’ SUITE
Downtown Visitors’ Suite is at 101 East Main Street. Visitors to the Suite will be able to pick up copies of the Festival Guide as well as information on many local businesses and restaurants. In addition the Suite will have computer stations available for online sales. The Suite is open from noon until 6pm Monday 26 – Saturday 31 and from 10am to 7pm Monday 2 – Saturday 7. Online sales accept Visa, MC, Amex, Discover.

THEATRE GUIDELINES
1. Seating for each screening will begin approximately 30 minutes before the screening time. Seating is general admission, so come early for the best selection. Note that some seats may be reserved for special guests of the Festival. Please respect these areas.
2. Admission to theatres may be restricted after the film has begun. Please arrive on time.
3. Each theatre must be completely cleared of patrons between screenings.
4. Food and drink in not permitted inside the Culbreth Theatre.
